Online Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation

Adequate preparation for reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation is extremely important. Willingness to participate in preparation activities shows a desire to receive the Sacrament in line with Canon Law. 2020 Confirmation candidates are required to participate in self/home study due to Covid-19. Candidates who have participated in Super Sundays are exempt from 5 lessons already covered in Super Sunday classes. Additional optional lessons are available. Candidates are not responsible for workbook material, but use of the workbook lessons is highly encouraged.

Upon completion of the required lessons, parents must sign the Online Confirmation Preparation Form in order to verify their Candidate’s active preparation in Confirmation Preparation. Forms must be emailed to james@svdpparish.org no later than May 31, 2020
