PARENTS ARE THE KEY!
Around here, we know the value of GOOD parents. Engaged and energized parents are the secret ingredient in any quality youth ministry program. Parents, your voice of love as educators, formators, friends, and fellow Christians is how your young people learn to follow Christ. We need your "yes" to make the message of Jesus resonate in the hearts of a new generation of Catholics. Right now we have TONS of ways that you can get involved!

As our young people gather on Sunday evenings to grow in their faith, fellowship, and community, we as parents are also called to be part of this vibrant journey!
We are excited to invite every family to join the Martha & Mary Parent Servant Team. Our goal this year is simple yet powerful: 100% family participation. With about 200 families and 23 Sunday meetings ahead of us, many hands make light work, and it is a wonderful way to connect with other parents.
More Than Just Service: Community & Prayer
Being part of the Martha and Mary team is about more than logistics—it is about building up our domestic church together. While serving, you will have the opportunity to:

Make new friends and connect with fellow parents in our parish community.

Pray together and enjoy dedicated spiritual formation time in the SVDP Alicia Chapel.

Provide an extra layer of support, acting as extra eyes and ears for safety during our youth nights.
How You Can Help
Every Sunday meeting relies on a dedicated team of parents to keep things running smoothly. We are looking for 2 Team Leads and 6 to 8 additional Team Members for each of our 23 Sunday meetings.
Meal Team Responsibilities:
If you sign up for a meal team, your responsibilities include:

Creating the menu and purchasing/preparing the food.

Delivering the meal to the SVDP PAC Kitchen.

Serving the meal to the youth group.

Handling cleanup.

Youth Ministry Core Team Member
Role Overview:
The Core Team Member is the relational and spiritual heart of our weekly youth nights. Serving as a mentor, catechist, and guide, this team plans, coordinates, and leads the overall youth ministry experience—facilitating small group discussions, delivering talks, and journeying alongside teens in their relationship with Christ.
More Than Logistics:
Beyond leading activities and lessons, Core Team members build intentional, life-giving mentorship with our young people. By modeling authentic Catholic discipleship, they provide a safe, welcoming space where teens can ask deep questions, encounter God's love, and grow as active members of the parish community.
