The SVDP Scholarship application that follows must be submitted no later than Monday, May 16, 2022 at 4 PM in order to be considered for an award. 2022 Graduating High School Seniors who are members of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church may apply.

2 $500 scholarships will be awarded for 2022. (2 separate, individual winners.) Applicants may apply only once.

All applicants must provide a copy of their current high school transcript along with this application. A file or files may be uploaded at the end of this application or by emailing james@svdpparish.org. National or standardized test scores (e.g. SAT) or class grades or rankings that are not included on your transcript may be included in the space provided in this application and will be verified by the appropriate school administrator/counselor. Test scores and grades submitted outside of an official transcript without appropriate verification will not be considered.

Any additional information may be included in the section marked "Additional Comments for Scholarship Consideration."

The SVDP Scholarship Committee and/or SVDP staff will treat the application information with care and sensitivity. Additional information may be requested by the committee to verify the information provided.

The SVDP Scholarship(s) will be awarded based on all aspects of the application, including: academic, school activities, community service/activities and financial need as well as responses to the application questions. The scholarship(s) that have been announced for the current year will be awarded to the successful applicant(s) after the applicant has been accepted at a college or post high school institution and when the applicant presents bills or receipts from the college or institution.
